Notes inline color

2026-09-25 — Released

Add :color[text]{color="red"} using the established bracket-first directive convention. The shared rich-token parser validates hex colors and the documented named palette. Static app HTML escapes text and attributes; browser widgets use textContent and style.color. No raw HTML or arbitrary CSS is enabled.

The shared renderer covers Notes live preview, table cells and MarkdownBlock. Selecting the token exposes the source, which stays unchanged in the editor. CLI/API HTML snapshots are outside this app release and retain source text.

Regression checks cover injection attempts, malformed attributes, protected code and links, escaped brackets, DOM/static parity, table rendering and source editing.

Docs and skill impact

The owning Notes guide and new Markdown authoring guide describe the public behavior. Regenerate workspace references and synchronize the public dreamlake-notes reference from the committed workspace source. Merge, staging, production, docs publication and installed skill readback are verified separately during release.

Release evidence

  • App PR #451 merged as 74c9b78820288b16091dcbe5594644ca7108f2b8, including the preceding SSR fix.
  • App typecheck and 2,421 local component tests passed (5 skipped). All PR CI gates passed, including both browser shards. The focused Notes browser test verifies foreground colors in prose and table cells.
  • Staging deploy 6ab6d7f8fbace40008e490a9 is ready at that commit. The deployed browser test passed using intercepted fixture API responses; no production Notes were created. Home, Notes and artifact routes returned HTTP 200.
  • Production deploy 6ab6d8d0212dd9000811cb39 is ready at the same app commit. The production browser fixture test passed for prose and table colors, and home, Notes and artifact routes returned HTTP 200. This is automated browser acceptance; it does not claim a user manually edited a production note.
  • Docs PR #752 adds the authoring guide. Final docs source 084d02e5 was published by deploy 6ab6d77953fa983fa73521b0; live /notes/markdown.md matches the built page. Both Notes and Markdown guide references in a fresh hosted skill ZIP match the committed generated files.
  • Public skills PR #38 published 2d186a8b. Current-source synchronization, seven offline tests, 39-file integrity and a fresh public Notes reference download passed. The recorded source is workspace 084d02e5 and CLI 3d0d21d.

This release record and gitlink update do not alter the public Notes procedure; its synchronized source remains the revision recorded above.

2026-09-25 — Screenshot guide update

Added light and dark screenshots to the Markdown authoring guide and a screenshot to the released entry. Both were captured from the deployed production app at 74c9b788 with read-only fixture data; the browser test rechecked text and table colors before capture. No saved production note was modified.

The workspace Markdown guide reference is regenerated. The public dreamlake-notes procedure is unchanged and already links to the live authoring guide, so its recorded source and public skill content do not need a new sync.
