Agent instruction cleanup review

2026-09-25 — Proposed partial reverts; owner review pending

The original cleanup was merged and its summary published as docs 0.1.26 before Tom and Marvin reviewed it. Ge subsequently requested that the broader changes be reconsidered, retaining only corrections supported by commit history. These follow-up changes are proposals pending their approval or requested edits; this source note does not establish that they have merged or deployed.

Corrections supported by history

  • CLI publishing: Tom introduced the GitHub Actions publisher in c648e9c. Marvin explicitly prohibited local production publishing in 250f3a5. Keep that existing rule while restoring concrete local validation and docs delivery commands removed by the cleanup.
  • Lakeshore documentation moved to its separate repository in e40da64; ef8beb4 removed the old docs tree. Keep the ownership correction and do not restore commands that build or publish the deleted tree.

Changes to undo or reconsider

Marvin introduced detailed UI release instructions in 78ffd41 after reconciling production-only changes. Restore that operational context. Remove the newly added workspace authorization paragraph and the new declaration that the workspace owns a canonical app/API release flow. Tom and Marvin should approve any future consolidation or permission-policy changes first.

The earlier claim that this was only an ownership cleanup was too broad. Builds and CI did not prove policy consistency, and the review request was not approval. The deployed summary and original PRs remain historical evidence, not owner sign-off.

Validation and delivery boundaries

This review changes internal instructions and a hidden developer note. There is no public skill impact: public command behavior and public skill source pages are unchanged. Run docs generation and freshness checks and inspect the diff. Keep the already-published 0.1.26 version record; do not downgrade or redeploy it. No application, API, CLI package, or docs deployment is part of this proposal.
