# Vault environment-file guide

Added [Environment files in Vault](/vault/environment-files/) for the SSH host setup work under [#247](https://github.com/dreamlake-ai/dreamlake-workspace/issues/247). The guide uses `dreamlake/envs/dev-env` and `dreamlake/envs/prod-env`, exact-string stdin upload, revision-checked replacement, and exclusive owner-only local restoration.

CLI 0.23.0 help and the Vault formatter confirm the command surface and raw string retrieval. No real environment files were read or uploaded. Whole-file storage does not imply remote environment delivery. Docs build and publication verification are recorded in the pull request.
